If we had known this was the last time the five of us would play music in a room together, we would’ve enjoyed it even more than we already did.

But sadly – after the release of the WILDWOOD SESSIONS, which you are able to stream or watch as of today – we will close the chapter Romie for good.

From the bottom of our souls we want to thank you all for 12 incredible years. So much has happened in our lives, we met so many wonderful humans, played with so many outrageously good musicians and found the most magical places through the journey this band has taken us on.

And YOU kept the train rolling all these years by fuelling it with support (crowdfundings, buying records and merch, streaming music, coming to shows) and with so. much. love.

Every encouraging little message, every nice word after a show, every time you shared a story with our music, wearing our shirt or sharing our music with your friends meant the world.

The Songs Are Forever They Say

Even if Romie is gone, the music will stay.

We uploaded the live session with our Safe Haven to all streaming services (except for Spotify) next to all of our other releases for you to listen to.

Physical copies (CD & LP) shall always be found at No2 Records in Frankfurt am Main as well as on our Bandcamp site for a reduced price, and we will keep this account the way it is for you to come back to if you need us.

Wishlist

If we had a wish for YOU to grant US, it would be for you to carry the essence of Romie with you wherever you go and let people know that peace is possible if you start creating it in your close surroundings, that you matter and that your pain can blossom into something beautiful again.

And that a song can actually save your life.

Oh, and of course that – decades from now – when we cross your minds, you’ll tell someone that there once was a really special harmony duo that you liked to listen to. :)
